| Dear MGO Members and Friends: HAPPY NEW YEAR! The last four years have has been a presidential catastrophe. But now we celebrate the arriving leadership of Joe Biden and Kamala Harris and extend every supportive thought to them as they begin to unite and heal our fractured country. In Oakland, MGO begins the year with a look at Oakland K-12 public school education and to thank the four just-retired members of the Oakland Board of Education: Jody London, James Harris, Jumoke Hinton Hodge, and Roseann Torres for their service, to hear about their experience on the Board and their thoughts about the path forward in Oakland public school education.
