Dear MGO: I want to thank you for your endorsement of my re-election as Oakland Board of Education Director, District Four. As a trustee for the past eight years, I believe that I have acted honestly,openly, and with integrity, to fulfill my duties as a board director, whether in governance, or under state administration.
I believe that OUSD will only improve in the next few years; we have a dynamic new superintendent, an innovative strategic framework, and a board that will carefully work to manage expenditures within a very tight state budget.
I am more than happy to come to MGO at a time in the future to brief you on what we have been doing, and where we hope to be going.
