We will hear from candidates for District Attorney as well as Alameda County Superior Court Judge. The forum will be on Zoom, and will be followed by time for members to discuss the interviewed candidates, as well as other items on the June Primary ballot. After the meeting, MGO will have an endorsement vote by electronic ballot. ———————————————————– We had a joint candidate forum / endorsement meeting with the Alameda County Democratic Lawyers on Tuesday, March 18, 2025. We invited candidates for Mayor and City Council District 2. After the forum, members were sent an endorsement ballot for Mayor, City Council District 2, and the sales tax ballot measure (Measure A). MGO Membership Voting Policy New members joining the Club for the first time shall acquire voting rights 10 days from the date of their joining. Lapsed members of the MGO whose dues are not more than two years in arrears shall acquire voting rights immediately upon payment of the current years dues.
